- 1/4 cup unsweetened, shredded coconut
- 1 quart water
- 8 pitted dates, chopped
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Toast cracked wheat and coconut by stirring constantly in a dry pan over medium heat for several minutes, until lightly browned.

2Place in a saucepan andd remaining ingredients.

3Bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.

5Sprinkle with chopped nut, if desired.
