- approximately 1/4 box saltine crackers
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 bag (2 c.) chocolate chips
Directions

1Cover a cookie sheet with foil.

2Spray with a cooking spray such as Pam.

3Arrange crackers to cover pan without overlapping. In a saucepan, melt together butter and brown sugar.

4Cook for 5 minutes or so.

5Pour mixture over crackers.

6Bake at 400° for 4 or 5 minutes (no longer, or it will burn).

7Remove from oven; pour chips over the top.

8Let stand for 5 minutes, then spread chips evenly over crackers.

9Freeze to harden.
