- 2/3 c. popping corn
- 1 c. nuts (salted, roasted, parched) or pecans
- 2 sticks butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2Pop corn and set aside in a shallow baking pan.

3Boil together syrup, brown sugar, butter and vinegar for 5 minutes.

4Remove from heat and add soda, vanilla and nuts. Stir well.

5Pour over popcorn.

6Bake 1 hour, stirring each 15 minutes.

7Break apart while warm.

8Cool before serving.
