Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 4 c. popped corn
  • 1/8 tsp. soda

Directions

    Boil butter, syrup, water, sugar and cream of tartar to soft ball stage, then add soda.

    Stir and pour over popped corn.

    Bake in oven at lowest temperature 150° to 200° for 1 hour. Stir at least 3 times.
