Ingredients

  • 10 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Put popcorn in a large mixing bowl or dish pan.

    Boil all ingredients except popcorn and soda for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add soda.

    Stir well and pour over popcorn, mixing well. Put in large, flat pans and bake for 1 hour at 250°.

    Stir occasionally.

    Store in tightly closed container when cool.
