- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup or molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6-8 qt. popped corn
- small can of dry roasted peanuts
Directions

1Melt butter in pan.

2Stir in sugar, syrup and salt.

3Bring to boil stirring constantly.

4Continue to boil without stirring for 4 minutes.

5Remove from stove and stir in soda and vanilla.

6Pour over popped corn.

7Mix well.

8Divide in 2 large shallow baking pan.

9Bake 1 hour at 250° stirring every 15 minutes.

10Cool.

11Break apart and store in tightly covered container.
