  • 1 c. oleo
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • 1 (11 oz.) can redskin peanuts

Directions

    Melt oleo and combine with sugar, Karo and salt.

    Boil 5 minutes.

    Add baking soda and vanilla.

    Pour over popped corn and nuts.
  5. 5
    Bake at 200° for 45 minutes uncovered.

    Stir every 15 minutes.

    Cool on cookie sheets.

    Break into small pieces and store in airtight container.
