Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 (4-inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 1/2 c. Burgundy, chilled
  • 3 c. cranapple juice, chilled

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and chill 8 hours.

    Strain and discard cinnamon and cloves.
  3. 3
    Combine syrup mixture, Burgundy and cranapple juice. Yields 7 1/2 cups.
