Cranberry Conserve

Ingredients

  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 lb. cranberries, washed well
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 orange, washed, seeded and put through food chopper
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. black walnuts, broken

Directions

    Put water and cranberries in heavy pan and cook until they pop. Add the raisins and chopped orange; cook 5 minutes.

    Add sugar and cook until thick jelly stage.

    Remove from heat.

    Add black walnuts.

    Serve as side dish when cool or place in jars and seal.
