Cranberry Nut Pound Cake

- 2 1/2 sticks margarine
- 4 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. chopped cranberries
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg. lemon instant pudding mix
- 3 or 4 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Sift flour, lemon pudding mix and baking soda together.

4Add flour and milk alternately, ending with flour.

5Add cranberries, sprinkled with 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, and nuts, sprinkled with flour.

6Pour in large tube pan and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
