- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. oleo or butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 3/4 c. orange juice
- 1 egg
- 1 c. cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease bottom only of 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

3Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.

4Stir in oleo until mixture is crumbly.

5Stir in orange peel, orange juice and egg just until flour is moistened.

6Stir in cranberries and nuts.

7Pour into pan.

8Bake until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 55 to 65 minutes.

9Loosen sides of loaf pan.

10Remove from pan.

11Cool completely before slicing.
