Cranberry Pecan Conserve

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
  • 4 c. fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Bring first 5 ingredients to simmer in heavy, large saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

    Add cranberries and cook until they pop.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour into bowl.

    Cool and then cover.

    Refrigerate until well chilled.

    Makes 3 cups.
