  • 2 c. finely sliced celery and leaves
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped fine
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • chopped parsley

    Cook celery and onion in 1 cup water until tender.

    Melt butter and spread in flour, then add milk.
