- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 (1 lb.) boxes 10x sugar
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint flavoring
- 1 to 3 drops of food coloring
Directions

1Combine softened (not melted) cheese and butter.

2Beat well. Add sugar gradually; beat well.

3Add flavoring and color.

4Beat until nice and smooth.

5Roll into small balls and flatten with palm of hand.

6Place on wax paper and let dry for 4 hours or overnight, until mints are firm and the outside is dry, but inside is moist and creamy.

7Yields 8 dozen.
