- 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/8 tsp. peppermint oil or 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 or 3 drops green food coloring
- granulated sugar
Directions

1Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.

2Add peppermint oil and food coloring.

3Shape into 1/2-inch balls; roll in granulated sugar. Chill 1 to 2 hours or until firm.

4Mints may be frozen in an airtight container up to 2 months.

5Yields 6 dozen.
