- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp. liquid peppermint flavor
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. unsifted powdered sugar
- food color of your choice
- colored or granulated sugar
Directions

1In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese and peppermint flavor until well blended.

2Place cream cheese on a large piece of waxed paper.

3Gradually work in powdered sugar with your hands until mixture holds together.

4Add 3 to 4 drops of food color and work in until evenly tinted.

5Make small balls, roll in colored or granulated sugar and flatten with a fork.

6Let dry at room temperature.

7Store loosely covered in the refrigerator.

8Makes 4 to 7 dozen.
