- 1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Melt butter in boiling water in saucepan.

2Turn heat low and add flour and salt all at once, stirring vigorously, until mixture leaves sides of pan in a smooth, compact mass.

3Remove from heat. Quickly beat in eggs, one at a time, beating mixture until smooth and stiff.

4Drop by heaping tablespoons 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet, shaping into rounds with point in center, using a wet spoon.

5Bake at 450° for 5 minutes, then at 400° for 20 minutes.

6Fill with whipped cream or pudding.
