Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. flour, less 1 Tbsp.
  • 4 large eggs

Directions

    Bring water and margarine to boil; add flour and stir well. Remove from heat and add eggs one at a time; mix well by hand. Grease cookie sheet and drop dough with a teaspoon for dainty fancy puffs or with a tablespoon for regular size puffs.

    Bake 20 minutes at 425° and 20 minutes at 325° until golden brown.

    Fill with instant vanilla pudding mixed with 8 ounces Cool Whip and 1 teaspoon vanilla or real whipped cream and strawberries.

    Also may fill little puffs with a mixture of 1 can shrimp, drained and rinsed well, chopped celery, onions, Miracle Whip, salt, pepper, garlic salt and Lawry's salt to taste.
