- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Heat water and butter to a rolling boil in saucepan.

3Stir in flour.

4Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms ball.

5Remove from heat.

6Beat in eggs thoroughly, one at a time.

7Beat until smooth.

8Drop from spoon onto ungreased baking sheet into mounds 3-inches apart.

9Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until puffed, golden brown and dry.

10Allow to cool slowly.

11Fill with filling.

12Makes 10 to 12 large puffs.
