Creamed Cabbage With Cheese

- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/3 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Shred the cabbage fine.

2Cook in small amount of salted boiling water until tender but still crisp.

3Drain well.

4Place cabbage and cheese in layers in greased baking dish.

5Melt butter; blend in flour.

6Stir in milk slowly; cook and stir until sauce comes to a boil.

7Add salt, paprika, onion and parsley.

8Bake in preheated oven at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes until crumbs are brown.

9Serves 6.
