  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 to 3 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Directions

    Heat margarine in a heavy saucepan or skillet.

    Add and saute onion and pepper.

    Add flour; stir and cook until bubbly.

    Add chicken broth, milk, salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.

    Add chicken and parsley. Heat through and serve over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
