- 24 boiling onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- dash of ground cloves
- 1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
Directions

1In large saucepan, boil onions in salt water.

2Drain and set aside.

3In same pan, melt butter.

4Blend in flour and salt until smooth.

5Add milk all at once.

6Cook and stir over medium heat until thick.

7Stir in cloves, parsley and onions.

8Stir until gently heated.
