- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
Directions

1Cook peas according to package directions; drain.

2In medium saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat.

3Stir in flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg until smooth.

4Gradually stir in milk and cream. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly.

5Boil gently for 1 minute. Add peas; simmer 2 minutes.

6Makes 8 servings.
