Creamed Sherry Chicken

  • 1 c. chopped mushrooms
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry
  • 4 to 6 large chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • paprika

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, except chicken. If mixture seems thick, add a little more dry sherry.

    Lay chicken breasts in a Pyrex pan.

    Pour mixture over chicken covering as completely as possible.

    Sprinkle generously with paprika.

    Cook at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Best served with noodles or rice. Serves 4.
