  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup tuna fish canned drained

    To make white sauce; melt butter, blend in flour, salt and pepper.

    Mix until smooth.

    Gradually stir in milk and heat while stirring constantly.

    Heat until mixture boils and thickens.

    To sauce add drained tuna fish.

    Stir until well mixed and thoroughly heated.

    Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, toast, etc, with vegetables if desired.
