Ingredients

  • 4 ounces mushrooms, canned drained
  • 2 tablespoons onions chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell peppers chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can soup, cream of chicken undiluted
  • 1 cup light cream (half&half)
  • 1 1/2 cups turkey cooked and diced
  • 1/4 cup pimentos chopped
  • 1 dash sherry optional

Directions

    Saute mushrooms, onion, and green pepper in butter.

    Blend in flour and seasonings.

    Remove from heat.

    Slowly stir in broth and cream.

    Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.

    Boil 1 minute.

    Add turkey and pimiento.

    Continue cooking until meat is heated.
