  • 1 c. zucchini strips or pieces
  • 1 c. carrot strips or pieces
  • 1 c. celery strips or pieces
  • 1/2 c. green onion, chopped
  • 1 can condensed chicken broth
  • 1 (7 oz.) can whole kernel corn (with peppers)
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
  • 1 qt. milk

Directions

    Prepare vegetables, cutting zucchini, carrots and celery into small thin strips or pieces.

    Combine with onion and chicken broth in a 3-quart saucepan.

    Bring to boiling, lower heat and simmer just until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes. Add corn and milk.
