Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 medium tub Cool Whip
  • Hershey's syrup

Directions

    Put water, margarine, sugar and salt in saucepan.

    Bring to full, rolling boil.

    Add flour all at once and stir vigorously with wooden spoon until mixture forms a thick, smooth ball that leaves the sides of the pan clean.

    Remove heat and add eggs, one at a time.

    Beat well after each egg until paste is shiny and smooth.

    Spread paste in jelly roll pan and bake at 400° for 45 minutes.

    Cool.
