- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 to 7 c. flour
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. melted butter
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1 cup water (105° to 115°).

2Add sugar, salt and 1 1/2 cups flour, stirring well.

3Add eggs, butter and remaining flour.

4Knead until smooth and elastic, approximately 10 minutes.

5Place dough in greased bowl, turning to coat.

6Cover and let rise in warm place about 1 hour until double in size.

7Punch down; divide into 4 equal parts.

8Roll each part into 1/4-inch thick circle; cut into 8 wedges.

9Roll up for crescent, starting at wide end.

10Place on baking sheet; cover and let rise 45 minutes, until double in size.

11Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.

12Makes 32 rolls.
