- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 1/2 to 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten

- 1/4 c. warm water

- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes.

2Combine 4 1/2 cups flour, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl.

3Cut in 3/4 cup butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

4Combine eggs, milk and yeast mixture; add to flour mixture, stirring well (dough will be sticky).

5Cover dough and refrigerate overnight.
