Ingredients
- 1 lb. medium size shrimp
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. light cream or half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- vegetable oil for frying
Directions

1Shell and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact.

2In small bowl, beat eggs, cream and salt until well blended.

3Pour into shallow dish or pie plate.

4Measure bread crumbs onto wax paper.

5Dip shrimp into egg mixture, then bread crumbs, coating well. Refrigerate in single layer on cookie sheet for 1 hour.

6Pour oil into a medium size saucepan to a 2-inch depth.

7Heat to 350°.

8Fry shrimp, a few at a time, about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon to a paper towel to drain.

9Keep in 250° oven until all the shrimp are cooked.
