  • 5 medium apples
  • 1 box dry yellow cake mix
  • 1 or 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • cinnamon

Directions

    Peel, quarter and slice apples (thin). Place in cake pan; add water.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar on top.

    Spread dry cake mix evenly; top with chopped pecans.

    Slice butter over mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon (to taste).

    Cook 45 minutes at 375°.
