- 1 cup quick bread mix
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk or water
- 1 x sesame seeds or poppy
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F (200C) (205C).

2Lightly grease baking sheet.

3In a medium bowl, combine Quick Mix, cornmeal or flour, and salt.

4Add milk or water to form dough.

5Knead about 12 times, until dough is smooth.

6Shape into pencil-like strands 1/2 inch thick.

7Cut into 8- to 10-inch lengths.

8Roll in sesame or poppy seeds, if desired.

9Bake about 20 minutes, until brown and crisp.

10For extra crispness, turn off oven and leave breadsticks in oven 5 to 10 more minutes.
