  • 16 small pomfret fish or any fish or fish fillet
  • 30 curry leave
  • 5 small desseded bird eye chili
  • 5 small deseeded green bird eye chili
  • 1 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 3 small shallot
  • 1 thumb size fresh turmeric or ginger (optional )
  • 2 tbsp dried shrimp(optional)
  • 3 tbsp oil

    FRIED FISH

    season fish with salt then deep fry till lightly brown and crispy about 6 minute or longer depending on the size and thickness of fish

    FRY CURRY SAUCE

    in pan with oil saute pounded paste till fragrant and light brown then add chili and curry leave for 1 minute

    add sauce and mix well

    add cooked fried fish gently coat with spicy curry sauce
