- 2 1/4 c. biscuit mix
- 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 c. snipped dried apricots
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Place biscuit mix, rolled oats, sugar, salt and baking powder in large bowl of electric mixer.

2Using kitchen shears, snip apricots in thin pieces (or chop fine with knife).

3Add apricots and nuts to dry mixture; toss until well coated.

4In small bowl of electric mixer, beat the egg.

5Add milk; beat until blended. Blend egg-milk mixture with the dry ingredients at medium speed; beat on high speed for 30 seconds.

6Turn batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

7Bake at 350° for 60 minutes. Yields 1 loaf.
