Crispy Old Fashioned Donuts

- 170 grams Cake flour
- 130 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 40 grams Unsalted butter
- 100 grams Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 dash Vanilla extract
Directions

1Soften the butter to room temperature.

2Mix the sugar, eggs, and butter in a bowl.

3Sift the dry ingredients into the bowl.

4Add the vanilla essence.

5Mix the ingredients together using a rubber spatula.

6Once mixed, let sit for 10 minutes so that there are no flour streaks.

7Dust the surface of the dough and roll it out to about 1cm thick.

8Cut out the donuts with a cutter.

9Using a skewer or toothpick, draw a line around the middle of the donuts.

10Fry in oil heated to 170 -180C until they have a light brown color.

11Once the donuts have cooled, decorate as you like with chocolate to make them look even yummier.
