Crispy walnut meringue

  • 2 eggs (white)
  • 40 g sugar
  • 40 g walnuts (crushed)
  • 10 g starch

    Preheat the oven to 110C/230F.

    Roast walnuts and crush them (or you can use nuts powder).

    Beat eggs white.

    Add sugar in 2-3 times separately, and beat well till it becomes stiff, like a fine sponge.

    Add starch and walnuts and mix gently.

    Put the meringue into a plastic bag with a metal mouth and wring it out to make nice shape.

    Put it into the oven and bake for about an hour, make it completely dry.

    Keep them with a strong desiccant.
