  • 1 lb. dry, small beans (white or pink)
  • 2 ham hocks or 1/2 lb. bacon, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar or molasses
  • 1/2 c. salsa
  • 1 can beer
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
