  • 12 doves
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic
  • 1/8 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. oregano

Directions

    Rub doves with salt and pepper.

    Brown in skillet with oil. Saute onion and celery with Worcestershire sauce for 3 minutes. Place doves in crock-pot.

    Pour sauce over.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Cover and cook 10 hours on low heat.
