Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained
- 12 to 13 c. dried bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 2 well beaten eggs
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet.

2Saute onion, celery, parsley and mushrooms. Pour over bread crumbs in large mixing bowl.

3Add seasonings and toss to mix well. Pour enough broth over to moisten.

4Add water and eggs and mix.

5Pack lightly in crock-pot. Cover and cook on high for 45 minutes, then on low for 4 to 8 hours.
