Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 12 c. toasted bread cubes (approximately 22 slices)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken bouillon

Directions

    Saute chopped onion and celery in butter.

    Stir in mushrooms, parsley and seasonings.

    Sprinkle over cubes.

    Add eggs and bouillon.

    Mix. Put in slow cooker and cover.

    Cook on high for 1 hour.

    Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for 1 to 2 more hours.
