Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 125 grams butter
  • 125 grams powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 egg whites
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 preferred jam (I used plum)

Directions

    In a bowl, work the butter with a fork until smooth and soft
  2. 2
    Scrape the lemon, and put the peel in the butter
  3. 3
    Add the flour, sugar, egg yolks, egg white, salt, squeezed lemon juice, and mix until homogeneous
  4. 4
    Place mixture in fridge for 15 minutes
  5. 5
    In a round pan, spread evenly 3/4 of the mixture
  6. 6
    Spread an even layer of your preferred jam on top (I used plum jam)
  7. 7
    With what is left of the butter and flour mixture, make thin stripes and decorate your crostata in a criss cross manner, as shown in the picture

    Place in a pre-heated oven at 200C for 10-15 minutes

    Serve after it has completely cooled off and hardened.
