  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. Parkay margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • dash of salt
  • sugar

Directions

    Combine cream cheese and margarine, mixing until well greased. Add flour and salt; mix well.

    Shape dough into ball; chill 1 hour.

    On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 12 x 6-inch strips.

    Fry in deep hot oil, 375° for 1 to 2 minutes or golden brown.

    Drain on paper towels.

    Roll in sugar.

    Makes 2 dozen.
