  • 2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. all--purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • whipped topping (optional)
  • pecan halves (optional)

Directions

    Combine sugar, flour and salt.

    Cut in margarine until mixture resembles a coarse meal.

    Remove 1 cup mixture and combine with cinnamon and nuts; set aside.

    To remaining crumb mixture, add milk and baking powder.
