- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 6 to 8 peaches, halved
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and nutmeg; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until crumbly.

2Sprinkle half of the mixture in the pastry shell; arrange peaches, cut side down, over crumb mixture, then add remaining crumbs over peaches.

3Add water; bake at 450° for 10 minutes and then 30 minutes at 350°.
