- 1 1/2 c finely chopped walnuts or pecans or thinly sliced brazil nuts
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soft butter
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Place ingredients in bowl.

3Stir until nuts are thoroughly coated.

4Press mixture firmly and evenly against bottom and sides of buttered 9-inch pie pan.

5Bake 6-8 min.

6Cool. Fill with a chiffon type pie filling and chill.

7Or, chill empty shell and serve filled with your favorite ice cream.
