  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 (12 oz.) can fresh oysters, well drained
  • 1 1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs
  • hot salad oil

Directions

    Combine egg and water.

    Dip oysters in egg mixture; roll each in cracker crumbs.

    Fry oysters in salad oil heated to 375°.

    Cook for about 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
