- 1 stick margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
- 3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Cream together first three ingredients.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Add flour and milk.

4Alternate, starting and ending with flour.

5Add vanilla and lemon flavoring.

6Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

7Makes a very delicious crusty cake.

8Take out of pan as soon as done.

9Preheat oven and don't look at it until almost done.
