- 1 whole medium onion, diced
- 1 whole green pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 whole bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 heaping teaspoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 heap (palmful)salt
