  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 medium green pepper
  • 1/2 medium red pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup cooking wine/white wine
  • 1 tbsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 small canned tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup pimento stuffed salad olives

    Heat skillet with about 1 1/2 tbsp of olive oil

    when oil is mildly hot add ground beef

    add chopped onion, garlic powder, green and red peppers, salt, and pepper

    break down the meat and frequently stir all ingredients into meat.

    keep breaking up the beef.

    once you get meat grounded and cooked, throw away excess grease.

    add the canned tomato sauce, cooking wine, and bay leaf

    cook for 15 minutes on medium low..then add olives, continue cooking on low another 10 min.
